  • Description We are seeking to fill a role in the Service industry, specifically for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, located in INDIAN HILLS, Colorado. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, predominantly related to financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget to ensure financial efficiency.

    • Conducting financial analysis to identify areas of opportunity and help formulate strategies.

    • Performing budget and variance analysis to monitor financial performance.

    • Handling payroll journal entries for employees to ensure accurate payroll processing.

    • Managing the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting.

    • Maintaining and reconciling ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.

    • Managing job costing for one-day jobs to track job expenses and profitability.

    • Preparing monthly financial reports to provide updates on the company's financial status.

    • Utilizing Sage Software and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.

    • Performing account and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial data.

    • Preparing financial reports and presenting them to the management for review.

    Skills

    • Proficient in Annual Budget preparation.

    • Skilled in Month End Close processes.

    • Experience in Job Costing.

    • Familiarity with Month-end Close Activities and Month-end Reports.

    • Proficient in Sage Software and QuickBooks.

    • Strong Financial Analysis skills.

    • Experience in Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation.

    • Proficient in Cash Reconciliations.

    • Strong skills in Financial Reporting, Monthly Financial Reporting, and preparation of Financial Reports.

    • Experience in preparing Monthly Financial Reports. Requirements - Proficiency in using Sage Software and QuickBooks for financial management tasks

    • Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze annual budgets

    • Familiarity with month end close activities, including account reconciliation and balance sheet account reconciliation

    • Experience in job costing or cost accounting

    • Skilled in preparing and interpreting month-end reports

    • Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to provide insights based on financial data

    • Experience with cash reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial data

    • Expertise in financial reporting, including preparing monthly financial reports

    • Ability to perform monthly financial reporting tasks accurately and in a timely manner

    • Experience in preparing financial reports for senior management or stakeholders

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    • Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is highly desirable

    • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations.
