Position Summary
The CE (Controlled Environment) Sales Representative will generate revenue for the Controlled Environment division. The Sales Rep will communicate with customers within their territory on a regular basis to develop rapport and better understand their needs. They will create and maintain a sales plan for their assigned territory that meets or exceeds a profit goal. The Sales Rep will establish new accounts and manage existing accounts to identify and provide solutions to fit the customer’s needs, this includes cold calling for potential leads.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts, and working with both Controlled Environment, Refrigeration, and Projects technicians where we have one book of business and not the other.
- Building rapport with various pharmacies, and labs, as well as healthcare administrators and key decision makers. Also explore other industries that require these types of services.
- Providing high level technical information and explanations in regards to MTA capabilities and offerings
- Maintain and improve quality results by being proactive, following sales best practices and using CRM tools
- Carefully and thoughtfully document contact history and notes within CRM
- Accomplish department and organization goals set forth by the National Director
- Explore opportunities to drive efficiencies within the Sales role and communication process
- Follow policies and procedures that result in regular call cycle contacting and follow up
- Preparing materials for quotes and upcoming events
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, hold equipment, and drive for extended periods of time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position and hours of work are typically Monday-Friday but will vary based on the needs of the customer.
- This job can include some occasional nights and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Established sales background in healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Positive attitude and strong in building relationships
- Consistent follow through in meeting deadlines
- Highly self-motivated and can easily work with little supervision
- Ability to travel, work flexible hours & adjust the schedule as required to meet customer needs
