  • Description: Control Account Manager (Electric HW) - Level 4

    We are Lockheed Martin

    The Electronic Hardware Design (EHD) team develops flightworthy safety critical electronic hardware, embedded software, FPGAs, and test equipment for LM Aero aircraft programs and related needs. We are a co-located team of electrical, mechanical, software, test, and project management engineers under one manager. These EHD disciplines develop requirements, produce detailed designs, qualify, document, develop test equipment for, and establish production build to print suppliers for the products it develops.

    CAMs are responsible for managing the cost, schedule and

    technical scope for each assigned control account.

    CAM specific responsibilities include

    - Detail planning work scope into control accounts and work packages

    - Providing schedule progress/status

    - Assessing and updating ETC/EAC/VAC

    - Opening and monitoring charge number activity

    - Reviewing and analyzing control account

    performance

    - Providing Variance Analysis Reports

    - Addressing metric anomalies

    - Identifying risks/opportunities

    - Developing handling plans to mitigating risks or exploit opportunities

    - Status management on scope of work status and issues

    - Aligning Agile execution plan with IMS

    Candidate will support the development of new business opportunities, preparation of estimates, and proposal development.

    Basic Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree is science, engineering, economics, finance, or business.

    - Proficiency with accounting methods and related tooling.

    - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products with emphasis on Excel.

    Desired Skills:

    Project management.

    Prior CAM experience

    Product Development experience

    Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.

    Experience working with a product development team or

    supplier.

    Understanding of product development or supplier

    management process

    Subcontract Management experience

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
