    We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Policy Lead who will play an essential and crucial role within the Contracts Operations & Strategy organization. This position will support organizational efforts to ensure that Contracts policies and processes provide Contracts professionals with clearly communicated operational responsibilities & expectations that align with business goals and regulatory requirements. This role is highly influential with significant interdisciplinary collaboration to cultivate Enterprise alignment through a practical and effective governance strategy.

    This role has been deemed to be remote - work responsibilities will be done primarily off-site. While remote employees' work is not regularly done on-site, there may be requirements to come on-site periodically. With this in mind, candidates should be located in or around one of Raytheon's primary locations: Tucson, AZ; El Segundo, CA; Aurora, CO; Farmington, CT; North Boston, MA; McKinney, TX; Northern VA. Please note that role type assignments are not permanent and may change as position responsibilities change due to business needs or if you change positions.

    What You Will Do

    • Lead a team of Contracts professionals to evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of current policies and processes, working closely with internal business partners to maintain functional alignment and codification of work placement into appropriate Raytheon policies

    • Provide strategic support for the development of a thoughtful & creative process improvement architecture for Contracts, focused on sustaining a streamlined, efficient, and cohesive set of policies, process documents, operating procedures, work instructions & best practices

    • Develop policy overview presentations and facilitate policy-related discussions with Contracts professionals

    • Work closely with the Contracts Compliance Lead to conduct periodic policy compliance reviews and document/report findings to Contracts stakeholders

    • Analyze and provide data-driven insights to senior key team members that support continuous improvement of Contracts policies and procedures

    • Provide timely responses to policy-related inquiries related to applicability & constraints of Contracts policies and procedures

    • Travel Requirements - 5-10% domestic travel

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    Education & Experience

    • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or, in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    • Experience administering and reviewing U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) and the Defense Federal Actuations Supplement (DFARS)

    • Experience drafting Contracts policy guidance

    • Experience leading Contracts and/or Policy teams

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Detail oriented, and the ability to develop options and solutions that are practical and can be readily acted upon

    • Possess a positive, cooperative attitude, but assertive when necessary to comply with company policies and Government regulations and laws

    The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
