    We are currently seeking a Consumer Loan Processor to join Kirtland Credit Union. This position would be on site at our Gibson location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is not a remote position and is 100 percent on site.

    This is what we'd like you to do:

    Responsible for reviewing, processing, funding, and servicing of all consumer loan products generated through both the direct and indirect channels. Responsible for following established procedures, policies, and guidelines for quality control. Support and adhere to the credit union's mission, vision, strategic objectives, and service standards. Provide exceptional internal and external member service.

    These are what your duties and responsibilities will be:

    • Monitor funding queues and process approved disbursements of all consumer loan products.
    • Review loans and documentation to ensure compliance with government rules, regulatory requirements, KCU lending policy, guidelines, and procedures. Analyze and verify the integrity of system loan data.
    • Obtain proper documents needed to ensure perfection of lien to protect KCU's security interests.
    • Post loan payoff payments and perform transactions required to facilitate loan funding, processing and closing.
    • Process and fund indirect loans in a timely manner by effectively communicating to dealers and obtaining completed loan packets. Maintain tracking to ensure timely follow up with dealers for missing information.
    • Complete Loan Maintenance requests.
    • Maintain and support a positive working relationship with all departments of the Credit Union by providing resolutions for questions and issues; both internally and externally.
    • Assist with the storage and filing of loan documentation.
    • Remain current with all lending insurance products.
    • Identify and suggest ways to improve procedures and processing of consumer loans within the department to improve efficiency.
    • Update various lending Excel spreadsheets for tracking and monitoring purposes.
    • Assist auditors by providing answers to questions and required documentation.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
    • Work Saturdays on a rotating schedule.

    Can you to bring to the table:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Knowledge of applicable regulations.
    • At least one year of work experience in a financial institutionpreferably in Consumer Loan Servicing or Loan
      Processing preferred.
    • At least one year of financial institution experience preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with members, co-workers, and various departments.
    • Must have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and possess multi-tasking abilities.
    • Ability to work with a high degree of efficiency, accuracy, and self-accountability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong in PC proficiency including Word, Excel, Outlook, with the ability to learn new software programs as required.
