    ABOUT THE POSITION

    The Consumer Loan Fulfillment Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end loan fulfillment process as it relates to all consumer and residential real estate loan fulfillment and booking utilizing the loan core system. This includes managing a team ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, loan processing workflows, and maintaining high standards of member service. This position will liaise with various business units that touch consumer lending and related functions including but not limited to research, lien perfection, reporting and tracking processes, and resolving consumer loan issues.

    NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK

    1. Leads and manages a team of consumer loan fulfillment specialists, ensuring department objectives, as well as staffing and other internal departments training needs are met. Supports other departments as necessary by providing expertise in consumer lending servicing, and training for existing staff as needed.
    2. Oversees the loan fulfillment process from submission for docs to funding, ensuring accurate loan documents and closings.
    3. Identifies areas for improvement in the loan fulfillment process and implement changes as necessary.
    4. Establishes or maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Prepare regular reporting on team performance metrics and present to senior management.
    5. Performs processing with team as an active manager of consumer loans, including personal, auto, and home equity loans.
    6. Assists the AVP of Consumer Loan Operations with the review and testing of new releases and system enhancements to the lending operating system and core system as necessary.
    7. Maintains existing consumer credit products in the Credit Union's core system and lending operating system to ensure appropriate alignment.
    8. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies, guidelines, and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to consumer loan servicing of real estate and non-real estate products.
    9. Supports policy, guidelines, and procedures related to consumer real estate closings/transactions with key stakeholders to ensure correct structure and loan documentation. Verifies that each loan is boarded accurately into the core system.
    10. Participates in consumer and RE loan documents in multiple lending jurisdictions, lien filing, and titling, and vehicle and RE insurance
    11. Creates and/or updates loan servicing processes, procedures, policies, and systems as necessary with knowledge of all consumer- related regulations for real estate and non-real estate consumer loans.
    12. Prepares for and assists with coordinating internal/external audits pertaining to consumer credit products. Expectation of zero audit exceptions as it relates to scope of responsibility. Performs periodic self-audits of all areas of responsibility.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Here are a few skills you MUST have to be qualified for this position.

    1. Minimum 7-9 years of consumer loan servicing/loan documentation experience including personal loans, auto loans, and real estate loans; including 1-3 years of management experience
    2. Experience with consumer loan and documentation procedures, policies, regulations, and laws, in addition to knowledge of bankruptcy and consumer law.
    3. Demonstrate ability to multi-task, prioritize, and accept change and function in a team environment. Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
    4. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer).
    5. Travel required on occasion.

    1. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field required.
    2. Lending experience at a Credit Union/Financial Institution.
    3. Possess strong analytical and computer skills.
    4. Ability to be resourceful and remain flexible.
    5. Technical background and on-going maintenance of loan core system as well as a functional understanding of a loan origination system (LOS).
