    Job Summary and Qualifications

    The HCA ITG Consulting Product Analyst leads the efforts of reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating workflow. The focus for this position is HIM/ABS/SCA/REG. Three Meditech platforms will be supported primarily being Expanse and Meditech 5.6. They rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. They are sought after to coach/mentor others and to provide consultative expertise. Consulting Product Analyst is engaged in multiple projects, most with significant interdependencies with existing systems. Cons Prod Analyst works with multiple stakeholders within ITG, Field, Parallon, Clinical Operations Group and Clinical Vendors to define strategies, scope and requirements to deliver successful IT solutions. Consulting Product Analysts work on highly visible and extremely complex efforts. They must have the ability to prioritize multiple activities and tasks simultaneously and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    50% Analysis, Design and Issue Resolution

    • Requirements Focus – Defines requirements and ensures specific requirements are met and approved by stakeholders where critical to project results and timetable.
    • Process Improvement Focus – Identifies opportunities to improve existing processes and implements them.
    • Critical Thinking/Decision Making – Applies critical thinking skills to solve difficult problems with effective solutions and to make timely, informed decisions.
    • Subject Matter Leader – Ability to take responsibility for MEDITECH modules, working to become a subject matter expert that leads effort in issue resolution and enhancement requests

    20% Leadership

    • Managing Expectations - Manages expectations of customers by ensuring a common understanding of what is needed, associated risks and expected delivery/resolution.

    REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

    • 7+ years
    • Build Experience with HIM (Health Information Management )/ABS (Abstracting)/SCA (Scanning and Archiving ) - Required

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

    OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Prefer experience with MEDITECH documentation applications
    • Strong relationship management skills

    • Requires prolonged sitting.
    • Requires eye-hand coordination & manual dexterity to operate computer equipment.
    • Requires ability to manage multiple projects and issues daily.
    • Works in an office environment.
    • Maybe stressful at times.
    • Must be flexible with the ability to work evenings or weekends as the schedule demands.
    • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
    • Travel not required
