Job Overview

Looking for candidate able and willing to work both short and long term projects in Guam, Kwajalein and Wake Island. as part of the Navy and/or USACE programs.

Candidate will be conducting recurring maintenance inspections and repairs (both planned routine and emergency) of the capitalized fueling systems at the misc. DOD facilities on Guam. Work may also encompass trips to Wake Island and Kwajalein.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilites:

• Candidate will be directly responsible for site quality control and troubleshooting of more technically complex service orders.
• Please note that this project does entail a substantial amount of data collection and electronic data entry so there is a considerable amount of computer work involved.
• Working conditions will also be exposing him to jet fuel, loud environments, work in hot/humid conditions, work at heights, work in confined spaces/low light conditions and work in awkward positions.
• Considerable field time can be expected on his feet, walking, squatting, kneeling, bending, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must have fueling system experience or equivalent - piping, mechanical work, fueling upgrades, tank work, coatings work, inspections, and repairs. Looking for functional expertise and broad business knowledge in tank inspection, cleaning and repair as well as fuel facility related piping systems.
• Overseas travel experience desired.
• Influences customer and/or organizational leadership to accomplish operational objectives
• Candidate must have a strong safety background and focus
• Considerable field time can be expected on his feet, walking, squatting, kneeling, bending, etc.
• Security clearance a bonus
