  • Construction Attorney Position: Associate Attorney

    Salary: Approximately $135k, based on experience

    Location: Preferably in-office, but open to remote work within reason

    Team Composition: One shareholder, three non-equity attorneys, two associates, three paralegals, one legal assistant

    Adecco is proud to partner with a midsized Dallas law firm that is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2 to 10 years of experience in civil litigation defense, with a strong preference for prior work in construction law or design professional law, to join our Dallas office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, constitutions, and legal codes

    • Manage all phases of discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, electronic document production, and taking and defending depositions

    • Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other necessary legal documentation

    • Formulate legal strategy and case management

    • Appear in court for status hearings and trials

    • Work closely with other attorneys and team members on legal matters

    • Communicate with clients and provide status reports

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • JD from an accredited law school

    • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas

    • 2 to 10 years of prior experience practicing law

    • Strong preference for previous practical work experience in construction litigation matters

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

    • Experience in handling a large volume of cases in a fast-paced environment

    • Ability to manage a caseload independently and responsibly

    • Willingness to travel as needed

    Pay Details: $130.00 to $135.00 per year
