    The role of the Concrete Pump Superintendent is to direct and oversee all concrete pumping field operations of the company. This position supports the concrete pumping needs of the field by providing safe equipment and productive solutions. The Concrete Pump Superintendent works closely with field operations on equipment selection, scheduling and placement.

    This position is responsible to ensure that all company concrete pumping policies and procedures are enforced in the field while providing continuous support to the projects.

    • Concrete pumping planning, safety, and operations

    • Concrete pump utilization, maintenance and repairs

    • Required Concrete pump inspections.

    • Compliance with company policies & procedures.

    • Recruitment and ongoing training of pump operators

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Works with jobsites and schedulers on identifying concrete pumping needs.

    2. Logistical planning of Pump trucks and Operators to meet internal and external concrete pumping needs while ensuring the Division's compliance with all DOT requirements.

    3. Responsible for safe and efficient operations on all projects which includes: ensuring compliance with all governmental safety and compliance programs as well as company initiatives including annual pump truck inspections. Leads ongoing safety initiatives including the timely completion of ACPA certifications for all operators.

    4. Oversees pricing and proper coding of concrete pump truck work order tickets.

    5. Works closely with Equipment Fleet Manager to maximize the utilization of company owned pump trucks and operators. Seeks out concrete pumping opportunities with external clients.

    6. Works closely with Equipment Service Manager and service department personnel to ensure that Concrete Pumps are maintained and repaired in accordance with Company Policy. Establish and maintain good communication setting priorities on all needed repairs/inspections/services.

    7. Develop subordinates to enhance their current and future contribution to the organization while maintaining a work environment that is conducive to teamwork, shared goals, and employee-owner development. Establish, maintain and communicate clear responsibilities and expectations.

    8. Other duties as assigned.
