Community Engagement Specialist

Description

We are in search of a dedicated Community Engagement Specialist to join our clients team in ALBANY, New York. In this role, you will focus on providing exceptional customer service in the nonprofit sector and will play a crucial role in fostering community engagement. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute educational materials tailored to the needs of the targeted populations

• Conduct follow-up with clients to ensure linkage to care and support services

• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, testing, and client interactions

• Collaborate with other team members to develop effective strategies for engaging targeted populations

• Process customer applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain accurate customer records and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner

• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, organizations, and local businesses to enhance outreach efforts

• Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and workshops to promote awareness and education
