    A licensed Community Association Manager to service a growing portfolio of suburban-based clients. Team-oriented, professional and friendly working environment. Property management software knowledge is a plus and a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must. Benefits package. Compensation will increase with tenure and as the portfolio grows. We will train, but it is mandatory in IL that the candidate have no less than four years experience as an IL CAM and an active IL CAM license.

    • Must have an active IL CAM license.
    • Has a solid understanding of the management of community associations such as townhouses and condominiums.
    • Is knowledgeable about building design and construction.
    • Understands IL law governing community associations.
    • Has reliable transportation and has the able to visit client sites.
    • Is a self-starter.
    • Prioritizes and manages multiple projects and tasks.
    • Has good time-management skills.
    • Can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Has great customer service skills.
    • Is detail-oriented.
    • Has strong problem-solving skills using the proper resources.
    • Has great verbal and written communication skills.
    • Is dependable.

    Duties Include:

    • Inspecting communities.
    • Issuing maintenance work directives and verifying their completion.
    • Coordinating and overseeing large-scale maintenance programs.
    • Communicating with contractors.
    • Communicating (verbal and written) with homeowners and residents on day-to-day matters.
    • Communicating with boards.
    • Executing board decisions and administering their policies.
    • Attending board meetings.
    • Interpreting and enforcing governing documents and laws.
    • Developing annual budgets.
    • Reviewing, interpreting and distributing monthly financial reports.
    • Bidding out services and drafting service contracts.
    • Drafting notices and mailings.
    • Overseeing the payment of invoices.
    • Overseeing the collection of assessments.
    • Investing association reserve funds.
    • Periodically file insurance claims.
