Position Summary/Purpose of Position:The Office of Communications in the A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland, is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support the communications needs of multiple departments and units within the context of the Clark School's strategic communications plan. The Communications Coordinator works to help strengthen and advance the Clark School's reputation and identity by promoting a positive perception among the school's general, academic, industry, and government audiences, and by supporting the School's recruitment and partnership goals. The Coordinator conceptualizes, researches, and produces a variety of communications deliverables and assists the units covered with needs that include photos and videos, social media, marketing materials and other collateral, e-newsletter and magazine production, and website updates. The Coordinator is entrepreneurial in their work and readily collaborates with a variety of internal and external constituencies in a fast-paced environment.
