Collections Specialist

Description We are seeking a contract to permanent Collections Specialist to join our team in the fuel services, lubricants, and equipment distribution industry located in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Collections Specialist, you will be tasked with managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring the prompt collection of outstanding balances, and fostering positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of accounts to collect outstanding balances while maintaining positive relationships with customers. Proactively contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on overdue payments. Resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans when necessary. Maintain accurate records of all collections activities, including customer interactions, payment agreements, and account status updates. Monitor aging reports and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. Collaborate with internal departments such as sales and finance to resolve credit-related issues. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws in all collection efforts. Requirements - Should have a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR). - Ability to efficiently handle Answering Inbound Calls. - Expertise in Billing Functions is necessary. - Familiarity with Collection Processes is critical. - Experience with B2B collections is highly preferred.
