    Do you have the expertise and drive to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in the pipeline and coating inspection industry? We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Coating Inspector to join our dynamic team in Southern Illinois . In this role, you'll enjoy working in the field while collaborating with a diverse team to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

    As a Coating Inspector, you will oversee and document coating applications to ensure they meet project specifications, federal regulations, and industry standards. You will identify and address coating defects, collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors, and maintain detailed inspection records. Your role is vital in ensuring the integrity and longevity of pipeline systems through thorough inspections and quality assurance processes.

    This is a field-based role in Southern Illinois with a focus on hands-on oversight and compliance.

    Required Qualifications:

    • NACE CIP Level One certification (minimum).

    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    • Specialized knowledge of gas distribution, pipeline, and facility code requirements (49 C.F.R. Part 192).

    • Possession of a valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.

    • Enjoys working in the field and solving challenges in real-time.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • NACE CIP Level Two or Three certification.

    • API 1169 certification.

    Salary:

    The base salary for this position ranges from $72,800 to $79,040 annually. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors, such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.

    May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
