Job Summary

The bit502 apprenticeship program provides the apprentices with a broad knowledge of Papa Johns' products and software. The role for the bit502 apprentice it to learn how Papa Johns operates within the team or teams to which they are assigned and to contribute meaningfully to those teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn all facets of the day-to-day operations of the area within the Information and Digital Solutions (IDS) area to which they are assigned. This may include software development, database maintenance, help desk support, information security, and more.

• Write code, make database changes, and fix issues, depending on your assigned IDS area

• Develop and demonstrate an analytical approach to problems solving in order to achieve the goals of the assigned team

• Gain exposure to facets of the development process and the requirements that must be met

• Produce good documentation on changes being made

• Work cross-functionally on projects that improve your technical skills, leadership, analytical skills, and project management

• Learn how to operate in a professional environment, including appropriate email and meeting etiquette, which form of communication to choose for what purpose, etc.

• Set goals and objectives for your apprenticeship rotation with your assigned leader and schedule regular feedback sessions

• Assist your team in development and execution of projects
