As a CNC Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our CNC machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on CNC machines, as well as performing regular maintenance and system upgrades. Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Perform assigned preventative maintenance work, ensuring strict adherence to i

Diagnose problems with CNC mills and lathes including electro-mechanical,operational, electrical/electronic and overall equipment problems.

Troubleshoot, install, service, rebuild and perform maintenance as necessary.

Analyze error codes and determine requirements for repair.

Repair and replace drives as necessary.

Recommend additional services or the purchase of additional equipment.

Determine, order and replace parts as necessary.

Locate and schedule outside technical assistance as required.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

CNC machine tool troubleshooting and repair experience.

Experience with Siemens controllers.

Experience with G-code.

Experience on honing machine.

Experience with linear scales.

Ability to read wiring diagrams.

Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis Cincinnati profi lers and mills.

Knowledge of changing spindles and ball screws.

Hands-on knowledge of volt meters, oscilloscopes and other test/measuringequipment.

Ability to read and understand direction and procedure manuals.

Any experience with Servos, motion controls and PLC's is a plus

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 60lbs
