Job Title: General Production Worker - Machine Operator

Job Description

As a General Production Worker - Machine Operator, you will read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables. You will set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools, including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools, to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations. You will prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine, set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts, make necessary adjustments to produce outputs according to specifications, and inspect and measure finished products and parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.

• Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools including CNC tools.

• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine.

• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts.

• Make necessary adjustments to produce outputs according to specifications.

• Inspect and measure finished products and parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure proper functionality.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of CNC machine operating experience.

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read blueprints and familiarity with measurements and calipers.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
