Responsibilities

A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine operator is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components from metal, plastic, or other materials. Their duties include interpreting technical blueprints, programming CNC machines, selecting appropriate tools and materials, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet stringent specifications. They are tasked with troubleshooting and resolving operational issues, making adjustments to improve efficiency, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Additionally, CNC operators are responsible for performing routine maintenance on equipment and documenting production activities to ensure seamless workflow and compliance with manufacturing standards.

The essential functions of this role include
