At Benchmark, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our senior residents. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals with a genuine interest in providing services to aging adults, to join our resident care team in Milford, CT.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Available Shift(s): 2nd Shift 3pm - 11pm, 3rd Shift 11pm - 7am

Schedules: Varied, weekends required

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA license or HHA certificate required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
