Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

A global maritime and classification company is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join their Cyber Security organization in the Spring/Woodlands, TX area. This person will be responsible for managing their MS Azure security suite as well as managing Oracle Cloud from a security perspective. On a day to day basis, this person will be working with the SOC Lead, other Security Engineers, and the Infrastructure team to enhance security within the MS Azure suite, and ensure a secure environment and process with new projects and initiatives. This role is required to work 3 days/week onsite in Spring, TX office, with Mondays and Fridays being remote.

This role is paying between 70 - 80/hr. depending on education and experience level.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Cloud Security experience, with recent Azure Security experience

Experience or exposure to Oracle Cloud Security

Experience managing entire Azure security suite: virtual resourcing, DLP, Defender, IAM, Active Directory, data and threat protection, etc.

At least 1+ cyber security certification, ideally relating to Azure security

Ability to work 3 days/week onsite in North Houston area null
