Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer that is remote, but willing to travel to Panama City when needed. This candidate will be working hands on in AWS and running scans. Responsibilities include managing AWS cloud deployments, developing secure cloud infrastructure, automating security tasks, conducting security assessments and audits, identifying and mitigating security threats, implementing security monitoring and incident response, managing vulnerabilities, and collaborating with other teams. Candidates should have 3+ years of cloud security experience, hands-on AWS cloud experience, proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), familiarity with DevSecOps principles, a strong understanding of security concepts and tools, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty) are a plus.
