    This posting will be used to fill multiple permanent, full-time Clinician or Senior Clinician (Clinical Program Therapist 3 or 4) vacancies for the Minnesota Sex Offender Program. The applicant's qualifications determine which position they are considered for.

    The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending. MSOP is a national leader in the industry and is committed to providing services on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of clients. MSOP has facilities in Moose Lake and St. Peter, MN.

    MSOP St. Peter site serves clients in the middle stages of treatment and clients with compromised executive functioning in a secure setting. Community Preparation Services site (located in St. Peter) serves clients in the later stages of treatment, emphasizing deinstitutionalization and reintegration to the community in a less restrictive, unlocked setting.

CPS is designed to provide clients with opportunities to continue working on treatment, as well as offer new opportunities for deinstitutionalization and reintegration into the community.

    Clinician primary responsibilities include:

    • Providing group therapy and some individual counseling

    • Preparing written documentation for internal and external audiences

    • Creatingtreatment plans

    • Delivering psycho-educational curriculums

    • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

    Senior Clinician additional responsibilities may include:

    • Conducting diagnostic and other assessments

    • Providing clinical leadership

    Minimum Qualifications

    Clinician - Clinical Program Therapist 3

    • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field AND

    • One (1) year of professional experience providing clinical services, including group and individual therapy

    Senior Clinician - Clinical Program Therapist 4

    • Master's or doctorate degree in psychology, social work, or related field AND

    • Licensure in the State of Minnesota as a mental health professional (e.g., LICSW, LP, LPCC, LMFT)
