    Where You'll Work:

    Our Cigna Group - Express Scripts Supply Chain team is comprised of Pharma & Retail Relations as well as Product & Strategy. The Pharma & Relations team plays a key role in keeping us at the forefront of healthcare evolution. Team members are tasked with overseeing partnerships with key supplier groups, including brand and generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, retail pharmacies and drug wholesalers. Our Product & Strategy teams play a key role in creating new and exciting programs to help drive accessible and affordable solutions for both our patients and clients. Together, both areas work to ensure patients have access to the medicine they need at an affordable price.

    What You'll Do:

    This internship will support various product platforms specifically focused on continually exposing new opportunities in critical disease states that can be better managed.

    The Summer Intern will support Product Advisors with ad hoc projects related to managing their respective clinical programs in a fast-paced environment. The Go-To-Market (GTM) and Product Enablement team lends consultative and administrative support to the array of programs with items such as enhancement campaigns, internal & external communication strategies, project solution support and governance of business practices.

    The Summer Intern may support moving a product from development to launch and be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional partners on platform positioning, internal and external communications and any additional items necessary to support a product market launch.

    These tasks may include, but are not limited to, strategic planning, end to end project management, data analysis, presentation development, cross-functional project work, document development and problem solving skills.

    Outside of your day-to-day work, you will have the opportunity to partake in personal and professional development activities, including an executive speaker series that opens a dialogue between you and company leaders, community service events, and networking opportunities with employees and other summer interns.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program

    • Junior or senior-level college students with a 3.0 GPA or above preferred

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation skills

    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

    • Strong interpersonal skills and critical thinking

    • Able to multitask on multiple projects

    • Self-starter with problem-solving skills who has the initiative to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results

    • Effective time management and organizational skills

    • Overall passion for learning and a keen interest in knowing more about the healthcare industry is a plus

    Additional Information

    • Location : This in a hybrid role. Applicants should be prepared to be aligned to either the St. Louis, MO office or the Bloomington, MN office. Hybrid roles require you to be in the office three days per week.

    • Work Authorization: One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with The Cigna Group post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

    • Schedule: You must be available to work 40 hours/week for 10-12 consecutive weeks beginning May 19, 2025. Working hours are Monday - Friday

    • Compensation: For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate between $23.00 and $23.50 an hour depending on relevant factors, including major and year of study.

    If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
