    The individual ensures that the Clinical Pastoral Education Program is the optimal expression of the religious and spiritual character to the organization, care of its patients, and training of hospital chaplains. Relationally, the position is a key partnership with the VP of Mission and Group VP of Community Health and Values Integration, area clergy and faith based community organizations.

    Qualifications

    In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    • Master Degree-Theology or related field required.

    • Five years of active ministry in church or healthcare setting.

    • Exhibits understanding of the mission and ministry of the church as espoused in the life of Christ.

    • Solid standing within the community and his/her own church

    • Exhibits a strong maturity for leading change and a collaborative style of management.

    • Current supervisory certification with the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE)

    Physical Requirements - Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
