    Serve as the primary Marketing leader to multiple consumer bank businesses with sales teams requiring tools to grow their books of business. Develop and execute marketing programs and ensure alignment of all strategies to the Truist Purpose and Brand. This leader will possess analytical problem-solving abilities and will demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter who can effectively manage and deliver both large and small projects. They will be a critical-thinker and strategically ensure attention is being given to the most pressing opportunities. They will also possess strong leadership and collaboration skills, working cross functionally across key stakeholders to drive alignment and deliver results.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive consideration of the company's value proposition - delivered by sales teams to referral sources and to consumer books of business

    • Engage with Enterprise Marketing Product Strategists to proactively plan for product or service changes that impact sales materials or client experience

    • Partner with both internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver programs across multiple platforms

    • Focus on operational scalability of current programs across the enterprise

    • Passion for team and talent management. Develop departmental plans, with a focus on production and/or organizational priorities.

    • Understand sales support efforts managed by other Marketing partners to create and report proactive updates and results holistically to various businesses

    • Adhere to business policies and plans and consult on technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.

    • Manage teams of marketers directly and indirectly aligned to a specific business or segment.

    • Provide leadership to managers and/or professional-level contributors and/or large-scale programs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training

    2. Ten years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, managing teams

    3. Consumer/Commercial/Corporate/Wealth banking product and/or segment marketing experience

    4. Demonstrated contribution to marketing strategy development to solve complex and/or unique operational problems

    5. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes

    6. Deep understanding of clients using research and analytics to ensure marketing success

    7. Ability to lead large projects of significant complexity and notable risk exposure

    8. Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective

    9. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry

    10. Team leadership experience

    11. Strong presentation skills and communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. MBA or Master's degree in related field

    2. Fifteen years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
