Job Description

The contractor will work in the inbound and outbound department, focusing on cleaning tasks such as managing cardboard, garbage, sweeping, and other necessary duties. Responsibilities also include using a floor scrubber and assisting with picking within the tote section. This role involves a significant amount of lifting, walking, bending, and crouching.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks including managing cardboard, garbage, and sweeping

• Use the floor scrubber for cleaning

• Assist with picking within the tote section

• Work in the shipping and receiving department as needed

• Lift, walk, bend, and crouch regularly while performing duties

Essential Skills

• Cleaning experience

• Experience using an RF scanner

• Order picking skills

• Ability to lift, bend, and crouch

• Capable of lifting 30+ lbs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Warehouse and forklift experience (potential once permanent)

• Experience with a double jack

Work Environment

Located in the Calgary Logistics Park in Rocky View County, this 250,000 square foot warehouse is the Western Canadian hub for distributing car accessories and home improvement products. The role is not transit accessible. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm OR Afternoons 2:00pm to 10:30pm.
