    Aerotek's client, an industry-leader in personal care cleaning products, is seeking a Machine Operator to join its team in Middlesex/New London County, CT.

    This individual will handle materials, operate blenders, mixers and ovens, as well as document batch records. They have opportunities available on both 1st and 2nd shift and there will be plenty of training provided.

    Ideal candidates will have

    -Mechanical aptitude or direct manufacturing experience

    -Attention to detail

    -Ability to read and write in English

    -Basic math skills

    -Ability to lift 50-100lbs

    Responsibilities

    • Assist machine operators in the clean room during training.

    • Perform quality inspections every 30 minutes and document findings.

    • Clean and maintain machines as required.

    • Undergo training to become a machine operator, which will take 4-6 months.

    Essential Skills

    • Ability to read and understand English.

    • Mechanical aptitude, including experience with hand power tools and auto-mechanical work.

    • General production knowledge.

    • Basic machine operating skills.

    • Attention to detail for quality control.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00
