Class 3 Swing Garbage Truck Driver

Waste Connections of Canada has immediate openings for a Class 3 Garbage Truck Driver at our Kelowna district. We provide excellent training and give our drivers a great paying career with benefits. As a Commercial Garbage Truck Driver, you are responsible for waste & recycling collection services in and around the City of Kelowna. This job is very physical and you work outside in all weather conditions.

COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATE & INCENTIVES:

• $35.63 per hour (subject to probationary rate)

• Monday to Saturday, early start (4:30am-6am)

• Be home daily!

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safe operation of vehicles

• Daily Pre and Post Trip Inspections

• Adherence to all traffic laws and our company safe operating procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Class 3 driver's license

• Clean CVOR and Abstract

• 1-2 years of Class 3 driving experience
