    Job Description

    AECOM's Environment Business Line is seeking a Civil Specialist to join our team of professionals in our Markham Office, Ontario. This is a Full-time role.

    Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Provide geotechnical project management and technical expertise in support of on-going AECOM projects.

    • Work with other geotechnical staff in Ontario and other geographies to provide the geotechnical, geo-environmental and hydrogeological field services to current and prospective clients, and actively participate in local and regional collaborative opportunities.

    • Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts, suppliers, contractors, engineering consultants and external agencies.

    • Prepare proposals for medium to high complexity projects for various geotechnical field investigation programs.

    • Oversee work performed by junior staff and EITs.

    The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary, collaborative multinational team focused on delivery of superior services to our clients. This is a challenging position for a self-motivated individual that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth.

    Qualifications

    Minimum requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Geotechnical engineering related topics or equivalent.

    • Minimum 6 years of geotechnical, geoenvironmental and hydrogeological work experience.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • MTO high complexity work experience in the GTA.

    • Knowledge of geotechnical, geo-environmental and hydrogeological engineering.

    • Experience with large projects and coordination with other disciplines.

    • Post graduate degree in Engineering or Environmental Science.

    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

    • Ability to manage the project schedule with limited resources (planning skill).

    • Willingness to work flexible hours under a variety of conditions.

    • A strong commitment to safety.

    • Strong organizational ability, and manage multiple projects, and deliver on time and on budget.

    Additional Information

    Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $105,000.00 - $135,000.00.
