Arundel Lodge, Inc, is a behavioral health agency located in Edgewater, MD. The Marcus Youth & Family Center provides trauma informed-care services for children through ages 17. Services include psychiatric screening and assessments, medication evaluation, management and monitoring, individual, group and family therapy, and play therapy.

Responsibilities include;

• · Will provide individual and/or family counseling and other clinical services to clients.
• · Assess the client’s psychosocial situation in relation to mental health needs and plans appropriate interventions and treatment goals to improve client (and when appropriate, family) functioning.
• · Provide preventive or supportive services to clients who are in or who are threatened by situations detrimental to their well-being.
• · Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of clients served. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the client’s requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs.
• · Will spend half day per week providing in person community work with Department of Social Services.

Education: Must have a Masters Degree and a licensed therapist in Maryland LCPC, LCSWC, LGPC, or LMSW. Must have experience in play therapy.
