    We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Product Owner to lead our Preventive Maintenance & Predictive Repairs Group, reporting to the VP of Digital Solutions.

    The successful candidate will manage a dynamic team of product owners dedicated to revolutionizing how we approach maintenance and repairs. You will oversee the product strategy, development, and implementation of cutting-edge proactive, Preventive, and Predictive programs for the dealers and customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor a team of product owners in the creation and execution of product roadmaps for Flexible Maintenance, Predictive Repairs, and Technician tools to create a digital thread providing a streamlined experience for the service advisors, foreman, and technicians.

    • Partner with Service Engineering and Customer Solutions to align product roadmaps with organizational goals.

    • Utilize AI and advanced analytics to enhance maintenance processes and explore data-driven insights to improve uptime and vehicle performance.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate preventive maintenance and predictive repair solutions into our product offerings.

    • Drive the strategic vision for the department, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and market trends.

    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

    • Engage with customers to gather feedback and incorporate it into product development.

    • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for product enhancements.

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to maintenance and repairs.

    • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

    • Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care on near- and long-term product roadmaps and drive cohesion across the organization.

    • Manage product backlog (PBL). Define User Stories with detailed Acceptance Criteria that meet a Definition of Ready; participate in daily standup and sprint reviews of engineering work products.

    • Define and manage KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track performance in achieving product success.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree

    • At least 9 years of technical project/program management and/or product owner experience

    • At least 5 years of management experience

    OR

    • Master's degree

    • At least 7 years of technical project/program management and/or product owner experience

    • At least 5 years of management experience

    OR

    • At least 12 years of technical project/program management and/or product owner experience

    • At least 5 years of management experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.     Desired Skills

    • A background in managing preventive and predictive tool development, preferably within the Commercial Vehicle industry.

    • A deep comprehension of commercial vehicle protocols, including J1939 and UDS.

    • A proven history of leading product teams to deliver successful, predictive modelling, data products, and diagnostic solutions

    • A robust understanding of software development, and integrations.

    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

    • Strategic thinking coupled with methodical execution.

    • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience in steering Agile teams.
