    Chief Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychologist

    AT&T is currently seeking a Chief I/O Psychologist to join the Organizational Assessment and Development team in our Dallas, TX office.

    What you'll do:

    • Use advanced behavioral science knowledge for the development and maintenance of assessments and other quantitative and qualitative research

    • Create, administer, and interpret employee listening surveys

    • Develop and administer the annual performance management process

    • Collaborate regularly with other areas of HR and Business Operations to use behavioral principles to drive business outcomes and employee development

    What does it take to join the team?

    • Position requires in-office presence in our Dallas, TX office. Relocation assistance is provided.

    • Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology plus 7 years' experience is required

    • Ph. D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology plus 5 years' experience is preferred

    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

    • Advanced statistical skills including predictive analytics

    • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal relationship building skills

    • Project and Change Management skills: must have experience managing multiple projects as well as demonstrated success helping employees embrace change and driving successful change in an organization.

    • Experience in Applied Research: must be willing to test out hypotheses to drive desired employee behaviors and behavior change

    Required Knowledge:

    • Assessments: professional and legal guidelines (Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures) on the development and use of assessments for employment and employee development

    • Surveys: best practices in employee listening including engagement and life-cycle surveys

    • Performance Management: best practices in performance management and experience managing the annual process

    • Psychological Principles: motivation, goal setting and engagement

    Our Chief I/O Psychologist earns between  $130,700 - $196,100 Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
