    Job Summary:

    A CFO, or Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and making decisions based on the company's financial stability. Their duties include monitoring cash flow, meeting with the CEO to discuss the best practices for company finances and coming up with strategic plans to improve their company's overall financial health. Must have strong analytical, strategic planning and communication skills, including an ability to work well with the chief executive officer, board members and other senior managers. MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THE GEORGETOWN, SC AREA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive the company's financial planning.
    • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments.
    • Directing accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
    • Managing or overseeing the relationship with independent auditors.
    • Prepare necessary audit and tax schedules required by audit firm.
    • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations.
    • Supervise all finance personnel.
    • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
    • Oversee the company's finance IT system.
    • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations that impact the company and company's policies.
    • Work with Parent Company/Owners from Austria.

    Requirements:

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
    • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
    • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software. (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics GP)
    • Ability to strategize and solve problems.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and people skills.

    Education and Experience:

    • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field, required.
    • MSc/MBA is a plus.
    • Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role, required.
    • Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting and financial management practices.
    • Certified Public Accountant certification is a plus.
    • Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
    • Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills.
