    We are seeking a dedicated Chemist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced laboratory environment. You will be responsible for testing raw materials and finished pharmaceutical and biological products utilizing advanced analytical instrumentation and ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulatory guidelines.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct testing of raw materials and finished pharmaceutical and biological products following established test procedures.

    • Utilize analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, UV-VIS for testing.

    • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), CGMPs, Company Quality Standards, and FDA/EU Guidelines.

    • Adhere to testing schedules to manage a high volume of critical work efficiently.

    • Communicate effectively with lead analysts and colleagues to ensure accurate results.

    • Maintain accurate documentation and organization of test results and procedures.

    • Work collaboratively within a team, maintaining a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

    Essential Skills

    • Proficiency in HPLC, dissolution, and documentation review.

    • Experience with GC and UV-VIS instrumentation.

    • Strong organizational and accurate documentation skills.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    • Experience in analytical chemistry testing laboratory performing wet chemistry testing and instrumentation including HPLC, GC, AA, and UV/Vis.

    • Working familiarity with Word and Excel.

    • Operational experience with Water's Empower data acquisition preferred.

    • Knowledge of US and European pharmacopeia preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • 4-year degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with two or more years of analytical chemistry laboratory experience.

    • Preference given to applicants with a BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry.

    • Knowledge of human error awareness and prevention.

    • Investigation and problem-solving skills.

    Work Environment

    The position involves working in an FDA/USDA/EU regulated lab environment with approximately 30 team members. The lab is divided into three areas: raw material testing, biological testing, and pharmaceutical testing. As a quality control lab, the environment can be fast-paced and sometimes stressful due to turnaround times and deadlines. Candidates must be adaptable and prepared for quick shifts in tasks. Training on specific role requirements will be provided, though proficiency in HPLC is required. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
