Charge Nurse - Med Surg/Behavioral Health - Full Time Nights
Fast-paced, high volume Med Surg/Behavioral Health Department is looking for top skilled nurses. Is that you?
Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: Full Time 7p-7a| Night Shift | Rotating Weekends, Holidays

Here's What You Need
Nursing Diploma required or
Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required or
BSN preferred
1 year experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting required
2 years experience in Med Surg/Behavioral Health experience highly preferred
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
