Position Overview
Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to serve as a strategic advisor for the successful implementation of an Oracle system within Howmet Fasteners. The OCM Specialist will be responsible for developing a comprehensive Change Management strategy and plan to facilitate the organization's transition to the new system. While Howmet will execute the OCM plan, the specialist will provide expert guidance, best practices, and recommendations to ensure alignment with project objectives and organizational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management Strategy & Planning
Develop a robust Change Management strategy tailored to Howmet Fasteners' organizational needs, culture, and project scope.
Create a detailed OCM plan, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption initiatives.
Identify key change impacts and outline actionable steps to address them effectively.
Advisory Support
Act as a trusted advisor to Howmet's leadership and project teams, providing expert guidance on executing the OCM plan.
Recommend best practices and tools to manage resistance, drive adoption, and ensure the sustainability of change.
Collaborate with Howmet stakeholders to address challenges and refine strategies as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment
Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify key groups impacted by the Oracle implementation.
Advise on engagement strategies to secure stakeholder buy-in and foster collaboration across teams.
Communication and Training Guidance
Design high-level communication frameworks and messaging to support organizational awareness and alignment.
Provide input on training strategies to ensure users are equipped to leverage the new Oracle system effectively.
Readiness and Risk Assessment
Conduct readiness assessments and provide recommendations to bridge gaps in organizational preparedness.
Identify potential risks related to change adoption and recommend mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Organizational Change Management, preferably within ERP or Oracle implementations.
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, or similar).
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic OCM plans and advise organizations on execution.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying change impacts and solutions.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments or fasteners industry is a plus.
