Overview

Position: Centralized Referral Supervisor

Location: Louisville, KY

Type of Employment: Fulltime

Schedule: Weekdays (8am to 5pm)

Compensation: Starting at $45,000/yr (pending experience)

The Centralized Referral Supervisor is responsible for scheduling patients for therapy throughout their assigned region, as well as coordinating and assigning work and ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources. This position also supports training for new hire schedulers and reinforcement training for current schedulers and insurance verifiers.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource for schedulers to ensure accurate procedure scheduling

• Reviews Referral Management System (RMS) reports for complete and accurate reporting and requests correction from staff as needed

• Effectively communicates with patients, families, and healthcare team members the time of visit, visit expectations, facility directions, and web address to access new patient paperwork

• Is sensitive to the individual needs of our customers

• Reviews and evaluates scheduled appointments for completeness

• Receives physician orders and schedules procedures by both telephone and electronic resources

• Communicates scheduling concerns to management

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• Previous Leader Experience

• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience

• Two years experience in the healthcare field dealing with customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health Care Experience

• Industry-specific customer service certification preferred

• Associate or Bachelors degree preferred, OR 2 years of experience in a similar role
