CCIE Network Architect

Job Description

• Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their frameworks

• Design, test, and inspect data communication systems

• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning

• Install hardware such as cables, hubs, routers, and wireless adaptors

• Develop technology roadmaps

• Configure network drivers for software

• Analyze, engineer, and execute software functions

• Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects

• Manage technology vendors

• Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting driving competitors

• Determine production direction

• Write functional requirements/specification documents

• Assess vendor development and test strategies

• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems

• Upgrade network hardware and software components as required

• Solve complex problems with many variables -- willing to peer mentor while having a pulse on every project the team is working on

Skills and Requirements

• CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) Certification

• CISCO network architecture experience including the design, test, inspection and documentation of data center systems

• Experience developing technical road maps

• Experience with hands-on network hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations

• Experience developing test plans and project timelines

• Experience managing technology vendors - CISCO Certifications null
