Title: Category Lead - Indirect Procurement

Location: Lakewood, Colorado (open to remote)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week)

Compensation: $97,000 -$121,000 Plus 10% bonus

Responsibilities:

• Follows specific standards, operating procedures, and detailed instructions in support of global purchasing and supplier policies.

• Examines and processes purchasing requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information and correct coding; contacts stakeholder to clarify or obtain missing information; determines best method to process requisition based on dollar amount, timeliness, existing contracts, preferred suppliers and/or competitive bid.

• Generates reports (via SAP, PowerBI, ServiceNow, and other tools) to manage the various workflows, coordinate communication, resolve problems, and escalate issues as needed.

• Manages the department's general Inbox and ServiceNow ticketing system for all service requests.

• Identifies and selects the appropriate sources or methods to procure requisitioned services or products for specific spend thresholds.

• Negotiates cost and value on behalf of the company.

• Initiates and performs supplier set up and ongoing supplier evaluation activities.

• Actively participates in cost reduction programs and continuous improvement efforts.

• Maintains and updates data in SAP.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in alignment with sourcing strategy and ensures appropriate audit trails are embedded in the process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in purchase requisition/purchase order process and indirect procurement buying.

• Working knowledge of SAP (PR/PO) required.
