  • Our client, a leading company solely dedicated to skin and advancing the future of dermatology located in Thornhill, has teamed up with Kelly Services to seek out a Category Analyst for a temporary 12-month contract .

    This role will analyze and translate consumer and category data and insights into strategies and tactics, and lead creation of selling stories that are compelling and meaningful to drive profitable sales and market share gains.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Mine data from multiple data sources identifying trends, opportunities and gaps for assigned customers, develop sustainable category and brand recommendations and solutions with the ability to articulate and present internally and with our retail partners

    • Analyze and identify actionable strategies and tactics across Product, Placement, Promotion and Pricing for assigned accounts across our KAM teams

    • Utilize Category Management methodology and shopper / consumer insights

    • Create Gold Standard Planograms to support sales fundamental strategies

    • Support POG reviews and new product launches - Lead implementation of planogram software for all assigned customers and / or categories

    • Analysis and publication of monthly POS Report for main Key Accounts

    • To provide data and analysis to support the National Key Accounts Manager for business reviews and brand performance

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Bachelor's degree required, Business or related field preferred

    • 3 or more years combined experience in sales, sales planning, category management and / or marketing is required.

    • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is preferred

    • Proficient in MS-Office in the MS-Windows software, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Syndicated POS and Panel (IRI or Nielsen), planogram software

    • Proficiency in JDA preferred

    • Customer specific POS sources

    • A background is required
