The National Health Service Core (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed by accredited sites.

    Case Manager Pay Range:

    Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

    Salary: $23.60 - $29.50 DOE

    Case Manager Summary: Join our dedicated team at KBBH as a Case Manager with our Aid & Assist program, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in pretrial status who are facing criminal charges and lack the mental fitness to assist in their legal defense. This position involves direct clinical services and acts as a liaison among the Oregon State Hospital, the legal system, and our community partners.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Support: Provide comprehensive case management services, including assistance with insurance, medical care, housing, transportation, and employment opportunities.
    • Skills Training: Facilitate training in medication management, hygiene, nutrition, budgeting, and community navigation.
    • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a treatment team, communicating clinical services to enhance client outcomes.
    • Advocacy: Advocate for clients with external agencies and provide support to families and natural supports.
    • Crisis Management: Utilize de-escalation techniques to address high-risk situations and respond to clients presenting serious symptoms.
    • Documentation: Ensure timely completion of all documentation and maintain updated treatment plans.

    Qualifications: Must meet Oregon State requirements for MHACBO QMHA certification.

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field or equivalent experience (3+ years in relevant work).
    • Driving: Valid Oregon driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
