Purpose:
The RSS Case Aide is responsible for providing case management, employment readiness and cultural orientation (CO) sessions and overall assistance to eligible clients in the Employment Program of CWS-Wilmington. The goal of the position is to prepare every employable client for the workplace, to assist in long-term integration and stabilization, and to help them successfully compete in the job market in New Hanover, Pender Brunswick, and Cumberland counties and begin or continue job searching alongside the assigned employment specialist. This staff will assist the employment specialist with case management, interpretation during the job search, job placement, job orientation and follow up calls to clients after a job has been secured. Case aide will also assist clients with kids with childcare search, in order to ensure full employability of clients, especially single parents.

Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s degree or 2 years experience in refugee resettlement or related field, or lived experience that allows understanding and skill in performing set duties.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience and interest in refugee resettlement or other direct social services or lived experience that allows understanding and performing set duties. Ability to provide culturally sensitive assistance is required.
Other Skills: Fluency in English and a primary refugee language is preferred. The successful candidate must be computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and Access), publishing and digital design and Internet applications.
