    Nightwing is seeking an experienced, progressive Capture Executive. The Director, Capture Excellence is responsible leading a world class capture organization for Nightwing. This role is accountable for defining the standards, processes and tools utilized across the business for all capture efforts.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Responsible for increasing Win Rate by adhering to the Winning Competitive Pursuits Framework, implementing NIGHTWING Best Practices and ensuring capture and proposal teams are staffed with the right resources

    • Responsible for Capture Managers meeting their NBI budgets and increasing NBI Efficiency across all NIGHTWING pursuits

    • Responsible for attracting, recruiting and developing Mission Area Leaders

    • Responsible for developing a diverse and unbeatable Capture Manager team and bench: establishing capture management as a distinct profession, institutionalizing Capture Manager talent reviews and ensuring purposeful rotational assignments

    • Responsible for Capture Manager learning and development through Nightwing Capture Manager Certification, Continuous Education, Individual Development Plans, Mentor Matching and targeted presentation development

    • Responsible for continuous improvement and innovation in winning competitive pursuits

    • Responsible for enterprise-wide knowledge transfer of winning competitive pursuits: win/loss analysis, capture forums, and training/equipping functional organizations on winning competitive pursuits

    • Responsible for Win Strategy Workshop, Blue Team 1, Blue Team 2, Gold Team and EN Reviews

    • Responsible for early engagement across the organization to create Competitive Advantage: use of investments to create Discriminators, shaping of Source Selection Plans/RFPs and driving Focused Pursuit Reviews

    • Responsible for developing leading indicators and metrics to access the health of our competitive captures

    • Drives the professional development of the Business Development profession

    • within NIGHTWING based on the BD Capability Framework

    US Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active US Security Clearance on day 1 of employment.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics or related science discipline

    • Minimum of 15 years' experience in leadership roles

    • Minimum of 10 years leading competitive captures

    • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience with the DoD, IC and / or Federal/Civil agencies

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Cybersecurity domain

    • Expertise in implementing AI/ML capabilities to the bid and proposal process and increasing efficiency and quality in all areas.

    • Demonstrated track record of winning large (>$100M) captures within the DoD, IC and / or Federal/Civil agencies

    • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in stressful business situations

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and influence high performing teams

    • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring of individuals and teams

    • Demonstrated experience working with complex acquisition processes

    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Must be available to travel as necessary

    • Must have current Secret or Top Secret and SCI security clearances

    Desired Skills

    • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related science field

    • Familiarity with Nightwing businesses, policies, and practices

    • Senior level experience with DoD, IC, Federal/Civil agencies operating in multiple markets or equivalent corporate business experience

    • Demonstrated networking abilities among various communities, e.g. acquisition officials/leads in the DoD and other government agencies, corporate enterprise, and industry partners

    • Is aware of and actively promotes and implements a capture culture of 100% compliance with Export / Import regulations, US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and equivalent export control and business ethics regulations of the foreign customers and partners

    The salary range for this role is 188,000 USD - 378,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
