Transdev is actively seeking a Transportation Dispatcher/Shuttle Driver for their Paratransit service in the Canby Area Transit. We are looking for qualified dispatchers who can provide excellent customer service to both our passengers and our drivers. When Dispatching, you will:

• Respond, record and resolve customer feedback via multiple channels

• Organize and route trips based on schedule and location to ensure optimal performance

• Performs data entry for daily trip reporting and fare collection

• Incident reports

• Other driving duties are required as part of this position

• Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of dispatch operations experience within the transportation industry

• Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to changing situations and listen to feedback.

• A customer service-oriented mentality with attention to detail

When Driving, you will be responsible for:

• Safely transporting passengers in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area

• Assisting in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly secure wheelchairs and scooters

We want you to if you

• Are at least 21 years old

• Have a valid CDL B license with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsement

• Be available to work any shift, including Saturday assignments

• Have held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years

• Have excellent verbal communication & customer service skills

• Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

Likely work schedule would be

• Monday Dispatching/Scheduling from 1pm - 11:30pm

• Tuesday Dispatching from 10:00am to 3:30pm

• Wednesday Dispatching from 10:00am to 3:30pm

• Thursday Dispatching from 10:00am to 3:30pm

• Saturday Driving from 2:15pm to 10:30pm
