Cable Install Technician

Our client, a high profile global corporation, is seeking a Infrastructure Delivery/Cable Install Technician to join their team. As an Infrastructure Delivery/Cable Install Technician, you will be part of the installation team supporting day to day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, and capacity management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive go-getter with strong technical aptitude and the ability to deal effectively with people which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician

Location: Dublin, OH

Pay Range: $25.04/HR on Experis W2

What's the Job?

• Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect and troubleshoot cabling Installation and maintenance of copper and fiber cable infrastructure

• Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords Ensure that the Data Center and vendor installations comply with all installation practices

• Report current status via ticketing system, status reports, email and Slack

• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects

• Work with a partner to move integrated enterprise equipment from loading docks into planned positions

What's Needed?

• To be successful in this role you should possess technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people in a wide variety of situations.

• In addition, you must possess strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.

• You will be able to leverage your experience exercising high levels of initiative, judgment, and diplomacy.

• Cabling, data center, infrastructure experience

• Basic computer knowledge, MS Suite

• Military experience preferred
