  • Job Title: Buyer (6 Month Contract)

    Job Description

    • This position is responsible for purchasing goods and services for the organization and for related activities.

    • In addition, this position is responsible for the evaluation, assessment, and implementation of new products including bid analysis, contract review, and presentation to a Value Analysis Team (VAT).

    • Additional responsibilities include customer service and support, item maintenance, and problem resolution.

    Work Site

    On site with potential to go hybrid once training is complete and dependent on work performance

    Work Environment

    Training will be shadowing the team, shadowing accounts payable, ensuring they understand the organization as a whole. The training takes a month, with classroom training for the first few weeks. The positions are in office (MN), not eligible for remote, but could move to hybrid once training is completed and they are showing good work performance. There are 32 people in the purchasing department. Purchasing agents handle buying, day-to-day buying, customer services, and chasing back orders.
