Business Systems Analyst

Our client in the financial messaging services industry is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team on site day one in their Manassas, VA office. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the team supporting various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple sources of information.

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Manassas, VA - one site day 1 and then hybrid w/ 3 days on site

Pay Range: Competitive

What's the Job?

• Translate business needs and requirements into technical functionalities and specifications for large systems with complex interacting components and very low risk tolerance projects

• Understand business requirements and functionally understand internal message flows, interactions between components, and their recoverability

• Collaborate with several stakeholders such as Marketing specialists, Customer Support, Enterprise/Solution Architect, other Business Analysts, Developers, and Testers working across different tribes/groups

• Prepare and conduct requirement workshops, walkthrough, critical review, and presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives

• Support testers in defining/understanding acceptance criteria during qualification cycles

What's Needed?

• B.S or M.S with Comp. Sci. or closely related Major

• Autonomous, empowered with the ability to drive, adapt and respond to change

• Customer-oriented and quality mindset - continually strive to deliver true customer value

• Solution-oriented and a team player - comfortable collaborating across teams in-person at office

• Experience working on financial applications would be ideal.

• Exposure to one or more Azure Cloud solutions is a plus, not required though
