Business Systems Analyst

Description

Robert Half Technology is seeking a mid-level Technical Business Analyst with at least 5 years of experience to join local government client. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering requirements, creating documentation, and supporting implementation projects while providing technical expertise and guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support

• Collaborate with the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) group and participate in Analyst Team Meetings.

• Assist with minimal stakeholder engagement while delivering project-specific outcomes.

GIS & Workflow Development:

• Develop and manage project timelines.

• Establish workflows and implement story mapping techniques using ArcGIS.

• Organize and standardize documentation efforts within ArcGIS, ensuring metadata consistency.

Stakeholder Communication & Visualization:

• Create stakeholder visualizations to communicate project progress and insights.

• Guide team members through internal systems and processes for streamlined operations.

Microsoft 365 & Viva Goals Expertise:

• Provide expertise in Microsoft Viva Goals to upskill the team's capabilities.

• Offer support for Microsoft 365 tools, enabling better utilization across projects.

Training & Team Enablement:

• Conduct training sessions on story mapping and ArcGIS usage.

• Hold frequent meetings to set expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in:

• Documentation and technical writing.

• Requirements gathering and analysis.

• Implementation experience in a project-based environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, with a focus on technical specifications and product expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public sector applications, such as Neogov, Granicus, Metrics, and Community Pass.

• Familiarity with HR tool integrations and related workflows.

• Background in GIS projects and ArcGIS workflows.
