Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (Contract Position)

Pay Rate: $67hr

Location: Columbus, Ohio (Remote, with occasional travel to Columbus for Go-Live events)

Employment Type: Temp/Contract

Project Duration: September 30, 2024 - April 18, 2025 (Potential for extension based on budget, performance, and workload)

Work Hours: 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST)

Interview Process: 30-minute virtual

Laptop Requirement: No laptop will be provided for this role.

Job Description:

The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in supporting applications and project initiatives. As an individual contributor, the selected candidate will work closely with both customer and development teams to convert functional requirements into practical technical solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers and development teams to translate functional requirements into effective technology solutions.

• Provide advanced understanding of the technical framework supporting the products, offering advice to both functional and technical teams.

• Evaluate, advise, and implement product decisions that support business processes.

• Support software implementation, quality assurance, and version control practices.

• Act as the interface between multiple cross-functional teams where system interaction is required.

• Execute project deliverables using a solid understanding of project development methodologies.

• No direct reports; reports directly to the project manager.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or functional area knowledge.

• Strong proficiency in SQL , Excel , and APIs .

• Bachelor's degree in IT, related business areas, or an equivalent combination of experience.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Strong public speaking abilities and communication skills.

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Additional Information:

• This role involves working in the Omni space, including mobile, web, and POS systems. The project involves analyzing data flow across these platforms for various parts of the company.

• The role has potential for extension depending on budget, performance, and workload.
